Project Cars Ten Years, five Cars... The first after completing final National Event. Project 1 The Maxima turned out to be very competitive, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, well not exactly sheepish wearing the decals in this picture. Click the image to the left for details. Project 2 Through '02 Damler Chrysler offered a budget minded Race Car, the Neon American Club Racer (ACR).  After extensive development to make the Maxima go fast around tight corners we turned to our Dodge Dealer, delivering a car from the folks of Performance Vehicle Operations (PVO).  Now they've gone and produced the SRT-4, a car that goes like the Maxima in a straight line and corners almost as good as the ACR.  Could an '05 SRT-4 be in our future? Our latest Budget Racer This Miata, the 3rd project car, is perfectly comfortable, whether it's traveling the back roads of Sonoma with the local convertible car club's winery tour or on course at Infineon Raceway.
