Hooked on Driving presented "Tracking for the Cure - One lap at a time" contributing $25,000 to the Susan G. Komen fund.
SJ FoS was there, supported with donations by 4D Sport, The San Jose Stealth and LeMans Karting; we help battle breast cancer too!
For one day the checkered flag turned pink.

| San Jose Festival of SPEED - The Loneliest Road Campaign
The Festival of Speed featured a celebrity challenge endurance race, cheerleader powder-puff race, car show, and professional lacrosse game benefiting pediatric cancer research and treatment improvement.
49ers, past and present including Bryant Young, J.J. Stokes, Tom Rathman, Keena Turner, Jeff Ulbrich, Tully Banta-Cain, and media celebrities including Vernon Glenn KRON Channel 4 News, Roberta Gonzales KPIX TV and Tim Jeffreys 98.5 KFOX participated in the Celebrity Go-Kart Challenge Race. Local sports team cheerleaders were also on hand for picture taking opportunities and autograph signing.
